In some twisted world, choosing your own family and being gay are mutually exclusive in this classroom.
Not my world, but according to DeDe Duffy, a preschool teacher in Cape Coral, Florida, this is very relevant in hers.
Yup, this chick wants to brainwash your children into believing that, if you don’t like your parents, you can just go find another family.
Somehow, you need to be gay while doing it.
She says, “I feel like i had to learn the concept of chosen families really young, and it wasn’t anything to do with my queerness, but just based on the fact that i didn’t have the love at home that i needed, and I knew that I was valuable and deserved it, so I found it on my own early on. And, ya know, I shouldn’t be blamed for that. Because fa-, like real, like blood, it still exists, you were never there for me, and I found my own love and that’s okay, and i think everybody should be allowed to do that, and that’s what I [effing] teach in the classroom, okay?! I always say “give it to your friend, not your mom” because [eff] your mom. And, I don’t know, I’m just so sad. I am so sad. And I hate my sister. She’s a [effing c-u-next-Tuesday].”
Nothing yells progress much like ‘I’m hurting and therefore everyone else should too.’
Is the hiring manager deaf AND blind, or? Really though, how did this woman make it past the first interview?
Oh, and there’s a giant stuffed teddy bear just chilling in her backseat like a damn passenger. That is all.
this is very very sad https://t.co/82EjnAwnqN
