May 5, 2023CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has announced that she will step down from her position as director of the CDC in June, citing the end of the Covid pandemic for her timing. As with Anthony Fauci’s resignation, she will not be missed and it will be no great loss. In fact, it might just be a blessing. As a driving force behind Covid pandemic policy that has shaped the disastrous last 3 years, she claims that “we made this world a safer place.” I vehemently disagree. She denied and disregarded science and logic at almost every step along the way. She lied to the American people repeatedly and let politics dictate her decisions and agency advice. She lied about masks, “vaccines,” school closures, lockdowns, social distancing, and basically everything else. She collaborated with teachers union mob bosses, Big Pharma billionaires, and political elites to shift money and power, seemingly with no regard for what was actually in the best interest of the American people or public health.
In a statement on the subject, President Biden said she “leaves CDC a stronger institution, better positioned to confront health threats and protect Americans.”
I also disagree with this. Under her watch, the CDC has destroyed their credibility and damaged (perhaps irreparably) public trust in science, medicine, government institutions generally, and the CDC specifically. Her actions have called into question almost everything the CDC has ever said on any subject, as people now realize how corrupt and captured the entire institution likely is. Should another pandemic (plandemic?) arise, the American people will likely hesitate to listen to anything the CDC has to say because she proved how untrustworthy, corrupt, and partisan it really is. She leaves the CDC a broken and disgraced institution that has become nothing more than a symbol of corrupt authoritarian governmental institutions. Nothing is better because she was there.
Rochelle Walensky might go down in history as the worst CDC director this nation has ever had, and the nation will be better off once she leaves.

Buh-bye! Don’t let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you! Even though the panic-demic was declared ended, watch people continue to wear masks while driving alone in their cars.
Sadly we live in a time where history is being rewritten in real time so it’s far too likely she will either be forgotten or remembered for her the “good” she did.
