Scottish Boy Stands on Business, Refuses to Bow in Mosque

A young boy in Scotland is reminding us all what it means to stand our ground as Christians.

I couldn’t help but think of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego while I watched this. That boy’s parents must be so proud of him. To remain standing when all his peers and the adults were bowing is impressive. Many people would have caved under peer pressure, but this young boy demonstrated remarkable courage to his faith.

Also—I want to know who thought taking children to a Mosque and having them wear kufis was a great field trip idea. I don’t know about you, but I thought scouting was about learning to camp and build fires, not bowing to a false god.

When the world comes for you and your faith, remember you and God make a majority. It doesn’t matter what people around you are doing—stick to the Bible. That boy has courage beyond his years and a bright future ahead.
