CNN Accidentally Debunks Claim Made By Its Own Very Own Political Commentator

I could barely watch the news yesterday. I was so sick of hearing about President Trump’s supposed “super top secret private meeting” with Putin. It was a whole bunch of nothing. President Trump briefly spoke to Putin at a couples-only dinner at G20. That’s the big “undisclosed” meeting. If you think it’s weird for one world leader to have a brief conversation with another world leader at a dinner full of world leaders, repeat that sentence to yourself and realize how idiotic you are.

Speaking of idiotic, CNN was on this. In fact, CNN’s Chris Cillizza wants everyone to know that LITERALLY NO ONE is saying it was a “private” or “secret” meeting.

He actually wrote this for CNN:

No media outlet reported anything about a “secret dinner.” No one is making the dinner look “sinister.” And, no one is suggesting that the media was unaware that the dinner was taking place.

Yep. No one. You know, except his own colleagues, of course.

The same day of Cillizza’s tweet, CNN’s Brooke Baldwin and CNN’s Kate Bolduan described the meeting as “a secret sitdown.”

As Daily Wire points out, Bolduan made that statement 11:49 am ET, and Cillizza published his piece after.

Can you say, “fake news”?

By the way, the Kremlin just came out and said there was no “secret meeting” either. The two leaders talked over dinner– the dinner that a ton of world leaders attended. Dmitry Peskov said it was an informal conversation and that the two discussed adoption.
