I was absolutely appalled by some of the reactions I saw last night. Even people from our own side were somewhat giddy over McCain’s diagnosis. If you don’t believe me, look at some of the reactions I stumbled upon here.
Completely uncalled for. We don’t wish cancer on people.
If I’m seeing these comments and appalled, I can’t even imagine how Meghan feels. This is her father.
But some people don’t care. Meghan stumbled upon a tweet from Nevada Republican national committeewoman, Diana Orrock. Don’t even bother trying to get on her Twitter, because it’s been deleted. Apparently, someone tweeted, “Please Just F***ing Die Already #JohnMcCain #Neocons #Russia” and Orrock retweeted it with an “Amen.”

Orrock eventually issued an apology.

It’s good that she apologized, but keep in mind. She only apologized because she was publicly shamed.
