Today is the 73rd anniversary of D-Day. It’s important to take a break from the constant political drama and remember the brave men and women of the Allied forces who landed on Normandy and confronted one of the world’s greatest evils. That’s true courage. Remember what those men and women fought for. It really helps put today’s problems in perspective.
We will never forget the bravery and heroism of the men and women who fought to rid the world of tyranny and to preserve freedom. #DDAY pic.twitter.com/qt5A58QfyH

I never had the honor of getting to know my PΓ©pΓ©, but he was one of the courageous men who landed on the beaches of Normandy. I get chills every time I think about it. His generation was so brave.
So. Many. CHILLS.
All that being said, please enjoy Ronald Reagan’s speech, commemorating the 40th anniversary of D-Day. All these years later, it’s still golden.
