Democrats Are Too Chicken to Be Interviewed by…Bill Maher?!

It’s a sad day when Democrats are too scared to be interviewed by some of their own. I’m not entirely sure what is intimidating about being questioned by someone who thinks you’re awesome, but that is exactly what comedian Bill Maher says has happened on his show. Invites have been extended to prominent figures in the Democrat party only to be declined.

Two things are probably happening here; let me know which one you think it is.

1. They are scared to speak off-the-cuff, even if it is with someone friendly to their cause.
2. They are cocky and don’t feel like they need the publicity or support—they already own the media.

Either way, I appreciate Maher bringing this up, and I am proud of Republicans for going where Democrats won’t—friendly or not.
