Elise Stefanik Just Torched Kathy Hochul

There was a Congressional Hearing today in regards to sanctuary cities.  As we all know, cities are currently burning because of Democrats and their poor illegal immigration stances.  They’re giving these illegals free housing in 5-star hotels, health insurance, you know, all the things you don’t get for free.  They’re allowed to vote too.  So, it’s a really big mystery why these blue cities that are constantly on fire keep electing the same idiots into office.

During the hearing, Elise Stefanik had the pleasure of absolutely obliterating Kathy Hochul.  She tried (but we all know how Democrats are) to get Hochul to answer for her sanctuary city policies that have allowed some unspeakable crimes to be committed in her state.  Hochul had to sit there and listen to the complete devastation she has allowed to happen.

An absolute thing of beauty.  Notice how Kathy tries to act like she had nothing to do with it and she is just as appalled as the next guy?  Meanwhile, in her opening statement she literally started off by saying that calling in the National Guard in California was a “flagrant abuse of power.”  Not a great start, Kath.  It got worse from there.  She went on to talk about how New York was built on immigrants.  Correct.  But LEGAL migrants.  Not illegal.  At one point this woman really said, “They’re not here for handouts.  They’re not here to take advantage of the situation.  They’re here to work.”  Give me a freaking break.  Meanwhile, I’m old enough to remember when kids couldn’t even go to school because they were using the schools to house these illegals.  She continued talking about kids being ripped from their mothers, wives being separated from their husbands, and families being torn apart due to ICE raids. I just feel like if these people were here legally, that wouldn’t be an issue.  But what do I know?  You can watch all the opening statements here.  But just be warned, it starts with Tim Walz.  Kath begins her opening statement around the 9:21 mark.

The thing is, she spent her entire opening statement talking about how much she loves these illegals.  She clearly cares more about them than actual citizens of New York.  You know, the state she governs.  Yet when faced with hard truths from Elise, she squirms and acts like her policies had nothing to do with the crimes committed by the illegals she so happily welcomed in.  When in reality, they had everything to do with that.  The one saving grace is, NYPD is taking care of the issues happening in NYC. 

Here’s hoping the tide is turning in New York and they can actually get a new Governor in the next election that cares more about the NY citizens than the illegals overrunning the state.
