The party of peace and harmony is spreading love by encouraging voters to “beat the hell out of” the other side this November.
BUT DON’T WORRY. I’m sure they just mean via the voting booth…right?
President Joe Biden urged supporters on Thursday to “beat the hell out of” Republicans in the November election.
The violent rhetoric came during Biden’s first public appearance with Vice President Kamala Harris since he dropped out of the 2024 race and Harris took on the Democratic Party’s nomination to face off against former President Donald Trump.
“Let me tell you what our Project 2025 is: beat the hell out of them,” Biden told the crowd during an event in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Amid cheers from the audience, Biden shouted, “I mean it!”
Easy there, slayer.
It’s just a suggestion, but toning down the uh…violent energy might be a good idea right about now. You know, since someone just tried to assassinate Trump and all? Could be nice to “lower the temperature” as Biden loved to say a just a few short weeks ago.
Unfortunately, it seems the days of toning down the rhetoric have already passed—and they passed quickly. But can we really fault Biden for forgetting his own advice? He doesn’t even remember the names of people he has appointed half the time. It’s probably too much to expect our president to refrain from saying Democrats should pummel the other side. #RealisticExpectations
