July 31, 2024It’s no secret that the left is going to do anything to tear Trump down. He’s been called all the names, not the least of which is a racist. But he was invited to do an interview with the NABJ, which he attended. The fact that he was willing to go there, knowing full well they were going to grill him, was honorable. Joe and Kamala would never agree to speak with someone with such opposing views.
The interview started off rough. The interviewer jumped right out of the gate calling him a racist and was incredibly rude and hostile. But Trump held his own.
Throughout the interview, there was some booing. She set the tone right from the start, so it’s not surprising. But there were some moments that I think caught people off guard, and they were actually agreeing with some of what Trump had to say. Not a lot of the time, but some of the time.
Some people may not like this take, but there were times when Trump didn’t directly answer questions. I love him because he’s not a politician, but he did get a little politician-y on some of the answers. One thing I think we all can agree on though, is that Trump tightening her water bottle was hilarious.
Was it petty? Yes. Was it un-presidential? Probably. But it was hilarious. He was berated for almost 40 minutes, so I’m not mad at it. Kamala is supposedly going to speak with them later this week. Do you think she’s going to get any tough questions? Or will they just be fawning all over her and giving her the most softball questions you ever heard? Probably the latter, but here’s hoping they actually have some hard questions for her too.
