In an effort to clean up the city a bit, Eric Adams just revealed a brand new thing to the residents of NYC. Trash bins. I wish I was kidding. But alas, I’m not.
New York City is living in the future!!!

Look at the Mayor announcing the city will now use trash bins instead of dumping their trash on the streets like barbarians.pic.twitter.com/c49dAlWC26
Look at how proud he is with himself for figuring out trash bins. According the New York Post, Adams said, “Many people thought it was impossible that these babies here, the bins, were going to be part of our trash revolution.” It’s insane to me that it took until halfway through 2024 for the city to realize that just throwing your trash outside on the curb is gross, unsanitary, and makes your city look like crap. But hey, at least it’s something? I mean, worrying about the homelessness and the thousands of illegal immigrants throughout the city seems like something bigger and more important to worry about. But it’s something. Congrats on that “trash revolution,” NYC.
