My experience with birth control. The setup:
I was in the middle of my LL.M. in Taxation Program in Detroit 6 – 8 PM about 3 times a week. I was working full-time 8 – 5 PM in Lansing. Wife with 3 kids from a previous marriage- why she could not wait until we met to have kids, is beyond me. I had three boys from a previous marriage and drove two hours each way every other weekend to get them. I was exhausted most days.
I was awakened out of my sleep one April 1st morning. My lovely wife was sticking a positive pregnancy test in my face. My life immediately flashed before me. Life as I knew it was over. My response was, I thought you were on birth control. Of course, her laughing like a hyena gave it away. She explained she got it from a co-worker who was pregnant.
A reminder. Ladies this type of practical joke is not funny at all.
