

A reporter, David Menzies, was arrested in Canada for “assault.” The thing is, all he did was ask the Deputy Prime Minister a question. That doesn’t sound very assaulty to me. But what do I know? I only work for a law enforcement agency. The question was about why the Canadian government is supporting an Islamic terrorist group. So one could only assume that the arrest had something to do with questioning the Canadian government and not “assaulting” the man that body checked him. But that’s just an educated guess…

Maybe my glasses are smudged, but did it look like Menzies assaulted that man? Because it doesn’t to me. What it does look like is Nazi Germany. If a reporter can get fired just for questioning the government, Canada has a major problem. If it’s happening in Canada, how far off are we from something like this happening here?
