Hamas Releases Footage Of One Israeli Hostage

In this footage of Mia Shem, a 21-year-old Israeli that Hamas is holding hostage in Gaza, Mia is shown to be laying in a bed, receiving medical treatment by the very people who inflicted the wounds in the first place.

So chivalry isn’t dead. How sweet.

Mia Shem is one of the 199 known Israeli hostages that was taken from Sderot during the terror attack that took place on October 7th. She has French citizenship and is a Shoham resident.

While a camera is pointed directly at Shem’s face, she spoke in Hebrew, translated to:

“Hi, I am Mia Shem, I am 21 years old, from Shoham, at the moment I am in Gaza, I came back on Saturday towards morning from the area of Sderot, there was a party, I was badly wounded in my hand, from the party they took me to Gaza, they took me to the hospital for three hours, they are worried about me, they are taking care of me, they are giving me medicines, everything is fine. I’m just asking to be returned home as soon as possible, to my family, my parents and my brothers. Please get us out of here as soon as possible. Thank you.”

That’s the most scripted plea I’ve ever heard.

We have literal footage of the bodies of babies that were burned to death, but sure, Hamas cares sooooo much.

Give me a break.

…please know my sarcasm is geared towards Hamas, not this poor girl.

I do wish for a safe return for all the hostages but I sure as heck hope we’re strategic about this.
