A country that has some balls, we love to see it! (A country being tough, not balls.)
On Thursday, the French government informed that, due to the likely disturbance to public order and the rise to racial hatred that these particular rallies would cause, pro-Palestinian protests will be banned. Anyone that is caught protesting and being trouble-makers will be arrested and deported.
French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin submitted the announcement to the nation’s regions and departments to ensure everyone is up to speed, according to the Agence France-Presse (AFP).
Darmanin’s instructions were very particular to inform that anyone who staged rallies and violated this ban would deal with harsh repercussions for their actions. Anyone that is caught participating in antisemitism at these pro-Palestinian protests will be deported immediately, having their residence permits revoked.
The French government has shifted their verbiage the past couple of days, ensuring that they draw a clear distinction between the Palestinian cause and the Hamas terrorism.
There have already been a couple dozen people arrested after swastika vandalisms and wielding bladed weapons at the entrances of synagogues and schools, three of which were foreigners that were immediately ordered for deportation.
