A shake up is good., but was a shake up right now the best thing? McCarthy wasn’t a good choice from the start, but he was who we had. Let’s also not forget that he was Trump endorsed. You can get mad at me all you want, but it’s a fact. Trump doesn’t necessarily have the best track record when it comes to endorsements (looking at you Dr. Oz). I’m split on how I feel about this, and it appears the internet, and the Republican party, is too.
Some people are really excited about this.
Today I voted for the Motion to Vacate and remove the Speaker.

This isn’t about left vs right.
This isn’t about ideology.
This is about trust and keeping your word.
This is about making Congress do it’s job.

Want to know why the Speaker was just removed for the 1st time in history?

B/c Kevin McCarthy wouldn’t give up funding for Ukraine
That’s it
Let this be a message to every future Speaker
Americans are done funding foreign wars & money laundering while our country falls apart
CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY !

Kevin McCarthy wants to know are you upset about him being voted out as House Speaker ?
I’m not! I’m doing my happy dance!
Kevin refused to stand up for us & he refused to stand up for Trump. He is scared of Biden and the Democrats!
He was put on… pic.twitter.com/voz9kT9eLP
Some not so much.

A handful House members just want to blow up the institution and themselves in the process. Sad. https://t.co/3kRXkj2zxY

The problem is, who now? Who is going to replace McCarthy? A lot of people are asking for Trump. Would he even consider it if it was actually on the table?
The only candidate for Speaker I am currently supporting is President Donald J. Trump.

He will end the war in Ukraine.
He will secure the border.
He will end the politically weaponized government.
He will make America energy independent again.
He will pass my bill to stop…
Kevin McCarthy will NOT be running again as Speaker.
— Congressman Troy E. Nehls (@RepTroyNehls) October 3, 2023
I nominate Donald J. Trump for Speaker of the House.
We need to remember that Republicans have a very small majority, and there is no way in hell the House Democrats are going to let that happen. So who? I’m really asking, because I honestly don’t know. I’m worried that whoever we get is going to be even worse than McCarthy.
I will say, while scrolling through Twitter, I have seen Byron Donalds’ name thrown out there by more than one person, and I’m not mad at that. But will he get the votes he needs? I don’t know. I would for sure love to see it though!
Our party is split right now, and this may have made things worse. I truly believe in-fighting lost the election for the Democrats in 2016 with Bernie v Hillary voters, and I worry that it’s what is going to lose 2024 for the Republicans. The in-fighting has to stop. So now that McCarthy is out, we need to band together as a party and get someone new in there ASAP. Then we need to keep that same mentality when it comes to the general election. Or else we will hand the Dems a Speaker, and the Presidency on a silver platter.

>Our party is split right now
It always has been. Conservatives are hated in the Party. They rise up on occasion, 1994 and 2010 being the two most recent, but are soon consumed by the “establishment”. 35 Congressmen had an “A” Liberty Score (2022 or 2021, whenever that was last updated), 37 had a “B”. That means 463 had a C or lower. We can do better.
>The in-fighting has to stop.
Yes! Those people demanding better need to shut the Hell up and accept Democrat light.
>Then we need to keep that same mentality when it comes to the general election.
So it isn’t my vote? It is the Party’s vote and I have to do what they say?
If I remember correctly, Mike Lindell spoke of wanting to be the House Speaker after McCarthy was chosen.
Random update- it was Toby Sniffington’s birthday last Sunday (Oct. 1). He’s the big 0-8.
