I’m convinced the ’90s was our peak as a species… which is really saying something, because that was before my time. I am, however, humble enough to admit that my generation is royally screwed up. I have zero pride in the fact that I’m a member of said generation. It’s genuinely getting to embarrassing levels.
And with that… may I present: the dumbest internet outrage I came across… today.
From the Daily Wire:
Martha Stewart is in hot water over a social media post she shared referencing an “iceberg” in her cocktail.
Earlier this week, the 82-year-old television personality posted photos of herself on a cruise, including a snapshot of herself holding a beverage while smiling and another of a huge chunk of ice sitting on a cart.
“End of the first zodiac cruise from @swanhelleniccruises into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of greenland (sic). We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight,” Stewart wrote in the image caption.
Climate change alarmists expressed outrage in the comments, calling Stewart’s joke about icebergs “tone deaf,” among other things
“Martha the ice caps are melting don’t put them in your drink,” one account posted.
“I generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because she’s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf,” another social media user fumed.
“Martha I love ya. But weren’t you just talking about climate change with your wash out on your driveway in NY? Melting icebergs for a cocktail surely won’t help. I’m not even going to talk about the boat you’re on and how that can’t be good for climate change either,” a third echoed.
“So tone deaf. The rich do not care that people have been burned out of homes and the ocean is boiling. More yachts and private jets huh?” another said.
I really wish these people had a better sense of humor… the number of times I’ve made a joke and it hasn’t landed is depressing.
There are so many things that deserve our anger and resentment. I would file this one under… “Who Gives a Sh*t?”
Martha Stewart is an old, rich, white lady. She acts like one, and I’m gonna have the unpopular opinion among my peers here and say that I prefer it. If I were, for example, given a choice between Martha Stewart and Jane Fonda… it’s Martha every damn time. No question.
If you’re “out of touch,” then own it. I’d rather it be that way than to have people who pretend to care about this stuff. I’m looking at you, John Kerry… Obamas… Harry & Meghan… Oprah… Taylor Swift… (was that enough examples?)

Thre have been several ice ages. We are in one right now. However, there has been a warming period for at least 10,000 years and possibly 20,000 years. 5,000 years ago there were few glaciers in Alaska. A mini-ice age created what is there now and the warming period continues. Sea levels were quite low compared to today. That is why under sea settlements and structures are being discovered. The little iceberg was going to melt whether it was used to chill a drink or not. God save us from the gullible and ignorant. The global climate hoax looks very much like a religious cult. Incidentally, 1,600 climate scientists just announced that climate change is a hoax. My personal opinion is that it is a scam and money is the cause.
Total nothing burger. In fact, it sounds like a good use for what should likely be very pure ice. The people outraged can all just eff off already. If they all truly believe in their religion of climate change, then they should all reduce their personal carbon foot print to zero immediately. Come on climate folks, sow us how its done – lead form the front for a change.

Possibly the failure is in the delivery? Maybe you should try making telling the jokes while dancing!
