August 6, 2023Chicago recently voted for a new mayor to replace the atrocious Lori Lightfoot, and Chicago is once again getting exactly what they voted for. Apparently, Chicago voters wanted another mayor who would fail to address rampant violence and lawlessness, would act as an official apologist for criminals, and would work harder for the narrative than for the people of Chicago. And here’s Brandon Johnson doing exactly that. Even as mobs of teens terrorize and destroy the streets of Chicago, Mayor Johnson’s top priority is putting a stop not to the violence and lawlessness, but to the use of the word “mob” to describe the violence and lawlessness.
Here he is running cover for the kind of behavior that is destroying Chicago and has been for years. Instead of dealing with widespread violence, destruction, and lawlessness, he’s scolding the media for using the word “mob” to describe these groups and this behavior.
How far will Chicagoans let this go before they decide to vote for a different life? Their city is already more dangerous than the Afghanistan and Iraq war zones, according to violent death rates for certain age groups. This once-great city is now the butt of jokes about 3rd world cities in the great United States. Do they even care?
