My brain cannot comprehend this. A Japanese man spent 2 million yen, which is a little over $14,000 on a dog costume that he used to transform himself into a collie named Toco. It is one of the weirdest/creepiest things I have ever seen.
He says that it was his childhood dream to become an animal. So he turned himself into a dog. He has a Youtube channel where he would show himself in the back yard walking around in his dog costume and performing tricks. He was finally ready to go on his first walk outside of the house/yard. This happened about 10 months ago, but I’m just learning about it now.
This gives me the heebie jeebies. But I had to see it, so you do.
The man under the dog mask has yet to reveal his true identity. He stated, “I don’t want my hobbies to be known,” he followed it with, “especially by the people I work with.” He’s worried they are going to make fun of him. I mean…I feel like for good reason. Because it’s freaking crazy.
His videos have gone viral. People are praising him and telling him that he is an inspiration. Why is society constantly praising mentally ill people instead of encouraging them to get help? This is insane. We shouldn’t be praising it.

Next, he’ll change his name to Taco and dress as an octopus.
