June 21, 2023Riley Gaines appeared on Capitol Hill today and stood up for female athletes everywhere, giving an “opening statement to start the Senate hearing on “Protecting Pride: Defending the Civil Rights of LGBTQ+ Americans.”
She recalled “how she and transgender female Lia Thomas, who competed for the University of Pennsylvania, tied for fifth place in the 200-yard NCAA freestyle championship and how she and her team watched Thomas win the 500-yard freestyle the day before.
Gaines, a 12-time All-American, went on to say that Thomas got both the trophy and the photo-op – instead of her. Ultimately, “the NCAA intentionally and explicitly discriminated on the basis of sex.” In that moment, they discriminated AGAINST WOMEN.
And while a biological man invades yet another female space, feminists will remain completely silent – or worse; in complete solidarity with the “patriarchy” (spineless cowards).
