Ooooo – things are getting so interesting with this Fox vs. Tucker case.
In case you hadn’t heard the latest, here was what we told y’all last week:
And now? Harmeet Dhillon is on the case.

Good on her. According to the Axios link, the reason that this whole hullabaloo is making such waves is that it really does have “repercussions for the conservative media ecosystem” in that Tucker putting his shows directly onto Twitter “elevates” Elon Musk’s social media site as a news platform.
And we can’t have that, now can we? Insert eyeroll here.
Apparently the cease and desist letter that Fox sent Tucker had “NOT FOR PUBLICATION” in bold letters at the top. Which is a shame, because I’m sure that letter is hilarious.
Here’s a juicy tidbit that I didn’t know, though. Fox is apparently still PAYING Tucker, in order to keep his content exclusive to the Fox platform through the end of NEXT YEAR. So I’m not sure what that means from a legal perspective, but I’m sure it plays a part.
Harmeet responded to Axios by saying, “Fox News continues to ignore the interests of its viewers, not to mention its shareholder obligations. Doubling down on the most catastrophic programming decision in the history of the cable news industry, Fox is now demanding that Tucker Carlson be silent until after the 2024 election. Tucker will not be silenced by anyone … He is a singularly important voice on matters of public interest in our country, and will remain so.”
I think I react on behalf of a lot of people when I say:

President Eisenhauer warned us about the military industrial complex. Now it is the military, corporate industry, politicians and media. Viet Nam could have been settled in 1965 or 1966 but short wars are not profitable to the elite. In my opinion, they want Tucker silenced to prevent President Trump from reclaiming the Whitehouse and ripping the cover from all the corruption. Both he and Tucker are a threat to useless wars. They are also a threat to the deep state and yes it does exist.
