Gavin Newsom Wants To Add A 28th Amendment To The Constitution To Restrict Gun Rights

Greasy Gavin is at it again, folks. He is so desperate to take away everyone’s guns and limit our Constitutional rights. He has now proposed that we just go ahead and amend the Constitution to limit gun rights. What’s one more amendment, right? Don’t worry though, he is going to leave the Second Amendment alone…he just wants to change it with a new amendment.

The proposed amendment would raise the minimum age to purchase a firearm to 21, require universal background checks, require a “reasonable waiting period for gun purchases,” and ban the civilian purchase of “assault weapons”  It would also allow state and local government to have their own gun safety laws. 

The whole “banning assault weapons” thing really gets on my nerves. No one is able to define an assault weapon when asked. Because literally any weapon used to kill or maim someone is in fact an assault weapon. Which a majority of gun owners are not using their guns for. Those that do are not using them legally anyway, so how are restricting the laws going to stop the bad guys? They won’t. It just means the good guys (the majority) can no longer defend themselves. So just by saying you want to ban assault weapons means you don’t want American’s to have access to firearms because they could be used as assault weapons. Which would be…the opposite of the Second Amendment.  But he said he’s not changing it you guys, so just calm down!

Also, let’s talk about raising the minimum age. You are allowed to fight for your country at 18, but you wouldn’t be allowed to legally purchase a firearm? Make that make sense.

California is a lawless hell hole right now. So why on earth would I listen to this man when it comes to anything, let alone amending the freaking Constitution? The Left is trying so hard to slowly take away our guns. This is just the beginning.
