June 5, 2023Wow. It’s always a disappointment to discover a conservative acting like a bratty leftie, but here we are.
So just a bit ago, I posted about RFK JR’s campaign and whether or not it would be a) recognized whatsoever by the DNC and b) hindered by Kennedy’s spasmodic dysphonia – the medical condition that causes his voice to be the way it is.
If you read the post/poll, you’ll notice, if you’re a normal human being, that I’m not making judgments and in fact have sympathy for people with this affliction. I’m not suggesting for a MOMENT that Kennedy not talk, or that he drop out of the race. I simply asked people if they thought his condition would negatively impact his campaign. The poll as of right this minute looks like this:
The results may change over the next several hours – who knows. But chances are, it’ll finish up looking a lot like it does right now. And as of now, it appears that over half of respondents believe that Kennedy’s voice WILL negatively impact his campaign. That doesn’t mean that those respondents think his voice SHOULD impact his campaign. They might think that – and they might not. But they DO think it will affect the campaign.
That’s perfectly understandable, since it IS difficult to listen to him. And as I pointed out in my earlier post, HE IS THE FIRST TO SAY SO.
But if you’re Johanna on Twitter, and you suffer from the same medical condition as Kennedy, and you’re a hysterical shrew who takes everything personally and you clearly have a giant chip on your shoulder and you use your affliction to whine about your victimhood, then you’re nothing like RFK Jr. You’re an obnoxious hag. BEHOLD:
So now the question can’t even be asked, y’all. We are all just supposed to ignore the giant elephant in the room in case Johanna’s feeeeeelings get hurt.

For crying out loud, Johanna. Not everything is about you. RFK Jr. is obviously moving full steam ahead with his campaign, and GOOD ON HIM for doing so, and not treating his spasmodic dysphonia with the same kind of whiny, offended-by-questions hysteria YOU are. For you to claim, all innocently, “I never said you made a personal attack on me!” RIGHT AFTER you said, “I find this utterly offensive and hurtful” and proceeded to act as though ANYONE said you should be “silenced” or “not pursue your life’s work” is PEAK LIBERAL BEHAVIOR.
Conservatives should do better. YOU should do better, Johanna. Grow a spine, get over yourself, and stop making a fool of yourself on Twitter.

You asked an entirely appropriate question in a thoughtful, sympathetic and fairly unbiased way. That even a conservative felt this was an inappropriate question (given the way you phrased it) tells me that our culture as a whole has begun to fully embrace the liberal lie that no one should ever have to feel offended. That lie keeps us from talking about many things that desperately NEED to be talked about. I’m not sure this question is one of those things, but it is an uncomfortable subject, to be sure.
