The AP Is Trying To Frame Fetterman’s Unprofessionalism As Stunning And Brave

I keep thinking the corruption and partisanship of the mainstream media can’t surprise me anymore, then they go and do something like this where I actually scoff out loud. Check out the AP fully embracing their role as a state-sponsored hyper-partisan propaganda machine.

Senator John Fetterman has never really been very professional. He would occasionally put on a very ill-fitting suit, but the overwhelming majority of his campaign and time in the Senate has been spent in a scrubby oversized hoodie, drawstring gym shorts, and casual sneakers. It’s garnered a lot of criticism and overall attention that the Democrat political establishment would prefer they weren’t getting. Fetterman’s job is to be a compliant and mindless Democrat vote in the Senate and nothing more. All this negative attention isn’t great for them.

So they’ve got the propagandists on the job to try to influence public opinion of his astounding unprofessionalism so that it’s slightly less critical. If you can even believe it, they’re taking the “stunning and brave” angle on this one. They’re really out here trying to get you to believe that his unprofessional and inappropriately casual attire in our nation’s Capitol as a representative of American citizens is stunning and brave, and something for which he should be lauded. They go as far as to call it “progress.” What they’re trying to say is that he was depressed and miserable in stiff, professional suits, and he’s made so much progress since his inpatient treatment for depression that now he’s “relaxed” and comfortable enough with himself to wear what makes him happy, and we should be happy about that, not critical.

This is what happens when you abandon all social standards and expectations, embracing the ridiculous idea that anyone can do anything they ever want and it’s the right thing simply because it’s what they wanted to do. The blatant propaganda is simply astounding.
