Shockingly, not one Democrat voted for the bill. Because how can they win the illegal vote if we secure the border? Also unsurprisingly, they are actually trying to say this bill is “cruel,” and “extreme.”
🎥 WATCH: I debated Republicans' latest cruel, extreme, anti-immigrant bill, HR 2, on the House Floor today.

Migrants sleeping on the streets of Texas may be a better shot for the Fox News cameras, but it’s a much worse deal for everyday people. We must do better. pic.twitter.com/piKdhhUmnu
Right. But letting thousands and thousands of illegals overrun border states bringing in deadly fentanyl and criminals isn’t cruel to our country. The Democrats are the actual worst. They hate our country. It’s very clear.
This Bill is not cruel, Greg. It’s going to protect our country. It will continue the construction of the wall, limit asylum, crack down on expired visas, as well as several other things.

Title 42 ends tonight, and our President could care less about protecting our country. So shout out to the House Republicans for doing work and actually doing something to protect the American people.

Though this seems to be a good bill, I’m reminded of Obamacare (PSA – I may be switching the sides of Congress in this, so please just mentally correct me if I got that detail wrong). After that debacle was rammed through while the Dems held the House, Republicans in the Senate repeatedly passed bills to repeal it entirely. I think they did that five times, and each time, the House refused to take it up, so the bill went nowhere. Then the mid-terms came, and Repubs got control of both Houses. After that, they sent up ONE bill to repeal Obamacare (which the RINO McCain killed by voting against it). When that ONE bill didn’t pass, they threw up their hands and said, “Oh well, repealing it can’t be done! Moving on!”
In other words, Repubs in Congress have a history of passing bills that are widely popular and that would actually help the country ONLY WHEN THEY KNOW THOSE BILLS WON’T GO ANYWHERE in the other House or because the President will veto them. This way, they can say (as the first tweet above suggests) that they were trying to pass solutions, but the evil Dems blocked them. But once they have control and actually COULD pass these kinds of things, somehow the bills never make it to the floor for a vote.
Seems to me that the problem might be that we really have a one party system and those who are in power like things the way they are. And once you get to that stage, the only way for change to happen is revolution.
