Aaaaaaaand, now the car is actually going OFF the cliff, everyone. Hope you’re enjoying the ride.
There’s a “woke pastor” preaching about how the Transactivist Nashville murderer is a lot like Jesus:

And this crazy is happening, too:
Dressed up as a caricature, a 'preacher' lectures us on White supremacy and more drag queens in the church.

People wonder why I’m a Christian girl who doesn’t go to church. See Exhibits A and B above for some of the reasons why.
Everyone awake yet? As in, you done just being polite and allowing this to happen to your country? Or are you going to start calling out the bullcrap?
Because we’ve gotten a LOOOOOTTTTTA emails over the past decade from good people (like you, maybe?) who agree that there’s a whole bunch of crazy happening in the world, but you’re too afraid to say anything out loud about it – you know, for fear of getting called a mean name. Or getting cancelled.
Still afraid? Or are you more afraid now that the tide is so far on the side of LOONVILLE that our country is legit going to be destroyed sometime way too soon because you were too afraid to say anything a decade ago? You know, so as not to ruffle any feathers?
I’m just speaking truth here. Comment away. Send me emails. Whatever….I’ve been called all the names, and I’ve been sent all the death threats. Whatever. If it makes you mad, GOOD. Maybe I’ll strike a nerve in you.
I’m imploring you to SPEAK. OUT. Do it now, do it often, be willing to lose friends and family over your raaaaaaadical belief that our country is worth fighting for. What a concept, huh? If you think you can’t make a difference? You’re wrong. Stand strong in your convictions, get involved in your local community, your local school board, your local politics – yesterday.
Because our country is currently circling the drain. if you haven’t noticed.
Oh, and Happy Easter weekend, everyone!

These depraved and wicked individuals have no fear of hell, do they?
‘Trying to find the logic here… could this “pastor” have meant Jesus would have cleared the temple of money-changers more violently if only the Savior had an assault rifle? I’m dubious.
I have given up on attending church. Our local pastor went to a Bernie Sanders rally and supports same sex marriage. After a long period I gave up on him. I worship at home. I have been all over this world, sometimes in dangerous shut hole countries and God has always been with me. (Misspelling intentional to get by the moderator)
God help us. It is going to be an us against them for sure, maybe physically. If that’s the way drag queens, gay people, trans people want to be why don’t they form their own places of worship and let the rest of us continue with the original Christian doctrine in our churches. I think as this happens more and more the conservatives and moderates will walk away from it. We do need to speak out and say NO, we are not following these lies and total skewing of Christianity. All of us. Now.
These flim-flams bawl about “the patriarchy”, but are oblivious to the blatant patriarchy behind the transgender movement and its aim to erase women. Don’t get me started on “trans-women” using their male physiology that remains after “transitioning” as an unfair advantage over biological female athletes who’ve busted their butts for years to be the best in their fields! Daisy, since you’re living in Texas now, may I suggest Oakcliff Bible Fellowship? It’s pastored by Dr. Tony Evans and he won’t stand for this decidedly godless “woke” hooey that has made its way into some churches. Dr. Evans caught grief more than twenty years ago for strongly calling for husbands and fathers to take leadership in their homes during a Promise Keepers rally. He was accused of telling men to dominate their wives and children because of the forceful way he said it, (which was seen as “oppressive”). Funny, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton speak forcefully, but nobody complains about it!
What church in their right freakin’ mind gives this person a pulpit to speak from? If this is in your church, do one of two things. One, run for the door, or two, find out who in the church leadership let this person speak and fire them.
Sadly, this is one of the reasons the Episcopal and Lutheran Churches are hemorrhaging members. We left our 15-year relationship with the Episcopal Church over this issue 5 years ago.
Our female priest once compared Barack Obama to Jesus Christ and also allowed a practicing non-repentant homosexual pagan witch to also serve as Eucharistic Minister. Oddly, the guy was really nice and never in-your-face about his alternative lifestyle/views but he was so, so, so far off from Christian teaching that we couldn’t attend any longer. That was the LAST straw for us. We even had a Vestry member stand up in Church and scream that the priest shouldn’t tell her what to believe. We were reciting the Nicene Creed. Pretty basic tenet of Christianity that all denominations agree on (from my limited understanding, at least, we agree at the core and disagree on the details of implementation).
The Anglican Church in North America (ACNA, among others) split off from them to stand against this sort of thing. They’re turning back to a traditional, conservative view of Christianity and no longer answer to Canterbury. Sadly we can’t find a congregation close to our current home in NC (I’m not driving an hour to go to church).
Oh, I am so tired of having all the Lutherans lumped together. There are Lutheran synods (separate church bodies) that are as conservative and Bible believing as can be. I know because I belong to one. But that ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) is practically godless. (Look up “Her Church” in San Francisco and you will see what I mean!) We wish they couldn’t even use the word Lutheran in their name. I wish the people fed up with the liberal churches would come to the conservative ones, but they don’t seem to want to do that either.
I’ve never been afraid of being called names. TERF?!?1 HAHAHAHAHA! Ok. WE women are not the ones with the problem here. It is the trannies and the men who fail at being men who have the issue. I think we are at a tipping point, though. Thanks to Riley, and JK Rowling, and that chick in Australia, and Bethany (the surfer chick), women now DGAF and are speaking out, and speaking out loudly.
