Of course. Of course she says it’s a race issue. Everything’s a race issue for race baiters like Ilhan Omar. Here she is lobbying on the steps of the Supreme Court, which is about to rule regarding the illegality of Biden’s scheme to redistribute student loan debt to all hardworking Americans regardless of whether they took out those loans, all to essentially buy votes for Democrats. Why argue the merits of legality when you could just say it’s about racism and end the argument there?
Does @POTUS have the legal right to cancel student debt? YES.

Is it just to cancel student debt for the millions of people shackled with student debt? YES.
Is it just to look at student debt through a racial justice lens? YES.
Cancelling student debt is legal and just. pic.twitter.com/uxjuQIjnQ2
It will be very interesting to see what the Supreme Court decides. Biden essentially wanted to “cancel,” or redistribute, student debt by using the COVID emergency as justification, which apparently sort of fell under some previous Act that allowed the President to help struggling students who were the children of 9/11 victims. But this student debt cancellation has nothing at all to do with the COVID emergency (which isn’t an emergency) or the events of 9/11, and it really isn’t legal. Even Nancy Pelosi admitted that the President doesn’t have the power to “cancel” student debt like that. Congress would have to pass a law on the subject, which they have not done.
As SCOTUS hears arguments on Biden's student loan vote buying scheme, it feels like a good day to replay this classic:
— Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) February 28, 2023
"People think the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not…that has to be an act of Congress."
—Nancy Pelosi (2021) pic.twitter.com/IWrrK9zpW2
What’s worse is that rational conversation about the reality of the economic impact of this plan to “cancel” student debt is impossible with the people who are so desperate for it. They don’t understand the basic economic principles that warn that this scheme is not a good idea for the American people or economy. That’s probably why they need their student loan paid off by other Americans who are actually able to earn money.

Except they are not trying to cancel the debt, but pass it on to people who were smart enough to not take out huge loans to get a mostly useless degree that cannot pay the rent.
If you were so stupid to take out loans for large sums to get a degree that cannot earn you a living, then you should suffer the consequences, not some plumber or other working person.
I’d like to cancel Ilhan Omar and the rest of “The Squawk”! If she’s so concerned about “racial justice”, where’s her outrage at the denial of school choice to needy minority children trapped in dangerous, failing government schools — and the targeting of said children for abortion? If needy minority children had opportunities to attend better schools, they’d possibly get scholarships galore and be better equipped for the discipline and rigors of higher education. This, in turn eliminates the need of the patronizing affirmative action.
College debt cancellation is RACIST because more white people than black people go to college. Even someone with her limited intelligence should see that. Duh!
Clearly you are confusing racist (prejudice based on race) with racist (something Democrats want to use to get elected)
