I have talked about getting a national divorce for well over a year now. I used to joke about it, but now I’ll say it out loud and I don’t laugh as much when I say it. Liberals see our country (and the world) in a completely different way than I do, so it’s hard for me to think about balancing a budget with them, let alone living harmoniously with them for the long haul. In the past two years, we have gone from stability to circling the drain due entirely to THEIR policies – and they simply can’t (and won’t) see it. They think that everything is sunshine and roses. They are blind to their socialism.
They WANT socialism. We do not, because we understand what the Founders wanted.
Take a look around the country right now. Everything is falling apart. Just like an actual marriage, it’s pretty apparent to me that when one person is delusional, has control of the checkbook, and is writing blank checks while our family is FLAT-ASS-BROKE, it’s time for the sane person in the relationship to start figuring out a way to rationally and methodically take back some of the control.
I have nothing in common with this liberal-spouse anymore, ya’ll. These folks believe that biological men are women, that weather is the biggest threat to our national security, and that Kamala Harris, Rachel Levine, and Pete Buttigieg are actually competent at their jobs and weren’t hired based on identity politics. They believe that the lockdowns were a good thing. They are all about Big-Daddy Government, and are bloodthirsty for World War 3. WTF.
It’s not your parents’ Democrat party anymore. They’ve gone off the rails when it comes to cultural issues. Did you watch the Grammys? Dylan Mulvaney was Biden’s special guest in the White House, for crying out loud. Have you seen them frothing at the mouth when it comes to abortion? It’s no longer “safe, legal, and rare,” but rather “CELEBRAAAAATE murdering babies!”
And I don’t agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene all the time, but I do agree with her on this:
Good grief! Just keep proving my point on national divorce.
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) February 23, 2023
The left and right can’t even agree on causes of death even when the numbers don’t lie.

gun related deaths including suicide 44,000 pic.twitter.com/zHKgKSlJmp
Data is data. Now, a lot of ignorance these days lies in the hands of our Democrat-run media – they’re culpable for so much of why people have no freaking clue what’s REALLY going on in the world. But then there’s the dismal lack of critical thinking ability in people these days, and it gets worse with every generation. Folks simply don’t know how to THINK anymore. People don’t want to WORK at doing anything, let alone thinking for themselves. Effort of any kind is, well, too much effort. Someone else – namely, the government – just needs to do and provide things for them, right?
What many people don’t understand (because they’re dumb – thanks, American education system!) is that government IS the American taxpayer. And the American taxpayer is getting more and more squeezed by the minute. Eventually, you’re going to run out of other people’s money.
Consequently, that other person in the marriage who’s been taken advantage of and beat up on for years and years? They’ll get to the breaking point where they just want out.
Jack Posobiec really dislikes the idea of a national divorce:
Jack Posobiec explains why national divorce is not a viable solution for the US: "This would lead to a massive war" pic.twitter.com/9dcUEdJDaf

“Cataclysmic war, friend against friend,” etc etc…”
But then there’s this guy:
Fine, let Blue States disarm their citizens.

But here in the Red States, we’ll keep our guns, thank you very much.#NationalDivorce pic.twitter.com/HH4cMFcXyi
Conversely, there are the anti-Jacks:
It sounds more like Jack is about keeping the status quo, which is classic Swamp Establishmentism .This is more about an abusive relationship being abused and unable to have a divorce from the abusive partner.

Listen – I’m down with however it shakes out as long as we first get the Californians out of Austin, we restore it to its former glory, and I gotta tell ya – I really like that map up there that Wes made.
We’ll even let the libs have Beto! You’re welcome.

In my experience, liberals neither believe nor disbelieve anything: they simply turn on the TV, and regurgitate whatever talking points their favorite celebrity happens to be espousing, no matter how illogical. You fail to understand that it’s a cult, and to keep in good standing with the ‘cool kids,’ they’ll repeat anything.
We used to have a mutually beneficial relationship between blue and red where red supplied resources for blue and blue supplied entertainment and innovation for red. Sadly Democrats have overplayed the red team bad card and completely borked this. We don’t need a national divorce we just need to start starving them out by not providing the vital resources they cannot generate. Remind them who is the meat and who is the fat.
Fine, as long as ALL of the progressives and their ilk move immediately to North Korea. They can take their possessions. Otherwise, no. The normal people need to keep fighting back. Vigorously.
Jack Posobiec’s explination is idiotic. Civil war isn’t the only way to separate, there can be amicable divorces. Look at the UK and the EU, the UK left and there was no massive war with millions dead. His whole take is like saying, “I fell off my bike on 3rd St, so every time I ever go on 3rd again I will crash.” Nonsense.
Also, there is more than one country on the continent.
(end of Jack Posobiec nonsense)
If there is a national divorce, it needs to be county decisions, not state. There are too many “red states” that are dominated by “blue” cities. The red area may need to cede some land to connect the blue together, and we may have to give Chicago to Canada, but there is no reason it all couldn’t be done peacefully.
And if we talk about Greene’s comments, all she said is follow the Constitution and let each state di their own thing. And that is controversial?
The relationship between the various entities in the EU and the divorce America would need are very different beasts. Separating the UK from the EU is akin to breaking up a pod of whales or a pack of wolves. They were working together but still have at least the ability to work alone. Meanwhile separating the USA would be more akin to trying to remove a parasite from a host organism. The parasite can’t survive without the host and will fight to the end to stay attached.
