What action is she referring to? When she says, “We’re going to get this done” – what is ‘this” exactly? What a freaking joke.
Speaking of jokes, Dem Rep Slotkin was BIG MAD about having conversations the other day. Check this out.
Conservatives have been ALL ABOUT having conversations about school safety – and hardening schools. Democrats only want to talk about banning guns, which will accomplish exactly nothing.
When are Democrats going to be ready to have a conversation about the fact that the Michigan State University shooter – the 40-something-year-old black dude – had a criminal record including a felony for possession of a loaded weapon and only served one day before being let out to commit more crimes (he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor)? When are Democrats going to be ready to have a conversation about the fact that the MSU shooter used a compact pistol and not one of those “assault weapons” that they can never actually define?
When are Democrats going to be ready to talk about the fact that people close to the shooter said he was mentally ill? When are we ALL going to be ready to talk about opening up mental institutions again, which are desperately needed?
Democrats are all fake tears and bullsh*t. They only want to use tragedy to score political points and punish law-abiding gun-owners. Gretchen is an example of the worst of them, because she pretends to have emotion and an action plan, but isn’t sincere about either.
Who actually falls for this nonsense?

“Michigan National Armory, in Lansing”. Should be “Michigan National Guard Armory, in Lansing”.
According to Rep. Slotkin: “You either care about protecting kids, or you don’t… Please don’t tell me you care about the safety of children if you are not willing to have a conversation about keeping them safe in a place that should be a sanctuary.”
Does she mean like in the egg producer’s womb for the first 9 months of life?
Maybe they should start by enforcing the laws on the books. The shooter at MSU was reported to be a convicted felon. Convicted felons are prohibited from possession guns. It is illegal to sell a gun to a convicted felon.
College campuses and most other places should not be gun free zones. Did you notice, the gunman did not head to the Michigan National Armory, in Lansing, to find victims.
MSU is a gun free zone, so maybe the solution is to not take guns from the law abiding but make it easier for them to obtain and concealed carry licenses. This will allow those who are targeted to be able to shoot back. In this case, these poor victims were sitting ducks with no way to protect themselves. An armed society is a polite society.
