It always cracks me up that the term “public service” is used to describe the jobs of members of Congress. What a complete lie.
Although, since leftists are famous for changing the definition of words all the time, maybe we should just henceforth and forthwith assume that “public service” means the service we, the public, are providing to members of Congress. Because when you watch this breakdown of the money, perks, and benefits these parasites get, you’re gonna realize that WE are the ones providing service to THEM, and certainly not the other way around.
Thanks to @itsrodsworld on TikTok for doing the research on this.

I simply searched “US congress member benefits salary perks” — apologies if there are errors or misinformation, it was not my intention. I can push buttons. I can also push the right button at least 6 out of 10 times. He__ my wife claims I push her buttons all the time. If she would just admit that I am the boss and I run things around here, I would not have to call her all the time on the phone and remind her of this stuff. I fully plan to do this reminding face to face, right after I get a chance to make sure my health insurance is up to date.
As to the article, it is how things are run when you work for the government. It is designed to foster inefficiency and will eventually result in wasteful spending and unnecessary make work jobs. Governments by their nature are designed to overspend and waste money on stupid stuff, which is why the voter should always demand less and smaller government, that is unless you like your taxes to keep going up.
In a government job, they give you a yearly budget. If you want the same amount next year, you have to spend everything they give you and then claim you need more. So, overpaying for things is sometimes an unconscious goal, because you got to spend everything in your budget. It is exactly the opposite when you are running your own business. It can happen at private companies, but this type of behavior is more apt to be nipped in the bud by the checks and balances designed to get the money back to the owners of the company (shareholders) then you would in a government agency or department were if you don’t spend it they will just allocate it to another government department to spend.
This gave me chest pain. How can we get any of these things discontinued when they make their own laws? This is so wrong and much of it a waste of taxpayer money.
So did he skip the butt wipers, or do they come under additional items?
Can’t those fools push their own elevator buttons, when they’re not pushing ours as their constituents?
