The Biden Administration and our governmental representatives have sent more than $111 BILLION taxpayer dollars worth of aid to Ukraine to fight a proxy war with Russia. Meanwhile, our southern border is being invaded, and the Biden Administration doesn’t really seem to care. Millions of illegal immigrants are flooding into this country, with most months now recording a couple hundred thousand. Several dozen individuals on the terror watch list have recently been apprehended trying to enter the country illegally, and these are just the ones who are being recorded. Probably the dumb ones who risked getting processed.
There have also been more than a million “gotaways,” or illegal immigrants who crossed the border and were not processed or recorded in any way. We have no way of knowing who they are, but I’m willing to bet that the smarter terror watch list individuals are among the “gotaways.” One of the only reasons we know about these “gotaways” or can estimate the quantity is because of surveillance blimps that monitor the vast areas of the southern border that cannot be perpetually occupied by border patrol agents.
Now, those surveillance blimps are going away. Apparently, there isn’t enough funding to keep them in the air surveilling our southern border. But you’d better believe that there’s going to be a few tens of billions left in the budget to send to Ukraine when Zelenskyy demands more aid. Priorities.

The aid to Ukraine isn’t really as cut-and-dry as “sending $111 billion” over to them. A lot of that stuff is military aid such as weapons and ammo. We’re gifting them the materiel. Some of the money in that $111 billion isn’t technically going to Ukraine, it’s paying to replenish what we’ve sent over. An aging, end-of-life M777 155mm artillery shell sent over to Ukraine is one less shell we have in our stocks here at home. So we have to replace it.
