January 11, 2023Let the record reflect that I am not a “Swiftie.” I like Taylor Swift’s music fine – I think I have a couple of her songs in my library, but I don’t cry over her music or pay money for her concerts or freak out about anything Taylor Swift related. I understand, however, that there are TONS of people who adore her and follow her every move. Hence, Taylor Swift makes a SH*T TON OF MONEY, and she absolutely positively deserves to, seeing as how she has a unique talent that people are willing to spend a SH*T TON OF MONEY on.
But some leftists are angry about the fact that Taylor makes so much money. One of those people posted a Tiktok about it, and I found this dude’s response to it really really really good. Don’t let his teeth distract you (as they admittedly distracted me). They’re nothing that some Crest strips can’t fix. His message is SPOT ON.

Good grief the more I listen to these people who are trying to promote “fairness” the more IQ points I lose. Taylor brings in a lot of money because she is Taylor Swift. If Taylor wasn’t making that much then most likely she would not be doing what she is doing and without her the other people would get $0 instead of whatever money the receive. Calling it “theft” is just disingenuous and they really need to stop doing it as it’s only going to force everyone down to the bottom as that is the easiest way to achieve parity.
