State Dept. Arbitrarily Labeled Content, Users “Russian Disinformation” If They Diverged From Leftist COVID Narrative

This is some serious government overreach, corruption, and censorship. Serious Orwellian vibes here. A new dump of Twitter files shows how the “Global Engagement Center-a fledgling analytic/intelligence arm of the State Department,” conspired with media and Big Tech to censor any people or information that diverged from the reigning Leftist COVID narrative. They did this by pushing a report called, “Russian Disinformation Apparatus Taking Advantage of Coronavirus Concerns.” Basically, they created a catch-all justification for censoring any person or any information they didn’t like by arbitrarily claiming it was “Russian disinformation.”

According to documents, the State Department “flagged accounts as ‘Russian personas and proxies’ based on criteria like, ‘Describing the Coronavirus as an engineered bioweapon,’ blaming ‘research conducted at the Wuhan institute,’ and ‘attributing the appearance of the virus to the CIA.'” The thing about this criteria, though, is that two of the three of those examples are actually completely accurate, and the third isn’t all that far off. They were censoring truth. Coronavirus WAS engineered, and one could argue that even our own government used it as a bioweapon against the people to seize control, restrict rights, and force agendas on a previously free nation. Similarly, research conducted in the Wuhan Institute of Virology IS to blame for the emergence of COVID-19. As for blaming the CIA, I don’t know that we’ll ever know what part our intelligence community played in the plandemic, but we can certainly blame other American agencies like the NIH, who funded the gain-of-function research that developed COVID-19. So really, not all that far off, if you ask me.

Not only did the State Department censor certain voices, but they amplified other voices that were parroting the reigning Leftist narrative regarding COVID and who were bolstering their “Russian disinformation” justification story.

At this point, almost nothing could surprise me. There is almost no “conspiracy theory” so outlandish that involves our government agencies that I wouldn’t be willing to consider might have merit. The horrifying corruption, blatant collusion, authoritarian censorship, and intentional targeting of certain individuals and information tells me that there is nothing they wouldn’t do–no lengths they wouldn’t go to– to manipulate and control people and information. Their corruption knows no bounds.

So the question now is how to deal with it? How do you deal with government organizations so horrifyingly corrupt that they are indistinguishable from fictional authoritarian dictators in dystopian novels? How do you root out that kind of corruption? And once you root it out, how do you keep it from creeping in again?
