Don Lemon Completely Missed The New Year Countdown On TV And He Wasn’t Even Drunk

Poor Don Lemon started the new year off on the wrong foot within seconds of starting the new year. I’ve never watched a new year countdown on CNN but apparently it’s kind of a tradition for Don Lemon to get drunk on live TV and act a fool just a little bit. Here are a couple of examples.

But there’s new management over at CNN and things are changing. One of those things is that Don Lemon was not allowed to be drunk during his New Year countdown show this year. And yet, he still managed to bungle the whole thing in hilarious fashion. Y’all, THIS DUDE MISSED THE WHOLE COUNTDOWN!!! He missed the whole thing and suddenly realized it was already midnight! A whole year of waiting for this countdown and then hours of killing time on air pre-countdown, and this dude missed the big moment because he was too busy throwing beads at the New Orleans crown while grooving to “Back That A$$ Up.” This is like “You had one job: TV anchor edition” and it’s way funnier than drunk Don Lemon.
