Democrats Have Made It PAY To NOT WORK In America

Mock and I wrote about this very subject in our book, Right for a Reason – and that was back in 2014. Entitlement is a cancer, and boy, has that cancer metastasized in the last nine years thanks to Democrat policies.

Between Obama and Biden? Sucking off the government teat has become an epidemic of epic proportions, and there’s now new data to support that. If you wondered why there are at least three million fewer Americans working than there were in 2019, you may think it’s because there are less jobs. Well, you’d be wrong. It’s because people don’t have the incentive to work. They have waaaaaaay more incentive to sit on their butts and collect a welfare check.

It’s the new American way, after all. Thanks, President Commie!

According the the NY Post and a study done by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity: 

• In 24 states, unemployment benefits and ObamaCare subsidies for a family of four with no one working are the annualized equivalent of at least the national median household. 
• A family making almost a quarter of a million dollars annually still qualifies for ObamaCare subsidies in every state. 
•  In a dozen states, the value of unemployment benefits and Obama­Care subsidies exceeds the salary and benefits of the average teacher, construction worker, electrician, firefighter, truck driver, machinist or retail associate. 
•  In New Jersey, a family of four can receive benefits equal to an annualized earned income of $108,000 with no one working. 
•  In Connecticut and New Jersey, a family earning $300,000 a year can receive ObamaCare subsidies 
•  New Jersey is a state where a family can earn the equivalent of $100,000 a year if both parents are collecting unemployment benefits and ObamaCare subsidies for health care. In Connecticut the benefits can reach $80,000. 

The numbers are staggering, to say the least. These welfare programs, “which were purportedly put in place as a safety net for lower-income families, have been expanded to the point that their greatest benefits go to upper-income earners, including households earning half a million dollars in annual incomes in some states.”

Why on earth WOULD a lot of people go back to work if they have the option of sitting on their butts at home, collecting a paycheck from Jane Q. Taxpayer? You know, other than having an Actual Work Ethic and pride in themselves and whatnot?

Pffft.

This isn’t what welfare is supposed to be. And it’s why I was VEHEMENTLY opposed to Covid stimulus checks. Lockdowns were bullsh*t. Let people run their businesses, and there would never have to BE STIMULUS CHECKS. I had family members who received those checks who had no business receiving them. Conversely, I had OTHER family members who really could’ve used them who never received them. I’m sure y’all had similar experiences, because government is inept and useless and has no business doling out OUR MONEY to US. I’m not wrong about that, considering the “rampant fraud payments that exceed $100 billion a year.”

That fraud equates to people receiving money who should never get it, while others never get the help who were supposed to receive it in the first place. It’s all a big, fat sham with our money.

The worst part of all? The entire welfare system benefits Democrat donors the MOST – because this is how politics works. A lot of back-rubbing and closed-doors-deals – again, WITH OUR MONEY:

“The Biden administration’s expansion of ObamaCare has been a handout to the wealthy donor class of the Democratic Party, while doing nothing to help those who are truly poor.”

Nothing to see here, folks.

Democrats have made it pay to live in their America. But at what expense, exactly? Because as we conservatives know, you eventually run out of other people’s money.
