If you’re a person who likes seeing bad people face consequences for their bad actions, it’s starting to feel like the US justice system is completely failing us on every level. SBF is clearly tight with way too many people in Congress who are clearly going to see to it that whatever penalties he faces for his fraudulent activities will be minimal at best.
I mean, you remember who the head of the Financial Services Committee is, right? It’s Maxine Waters. She’s talking a good game this morning:

My point is, this entire situation is shady AF, and if you’re holding your breath waiting for Actual Justice, just don’t plan on holding it too long.
