I was hoping Mr. Musk would make a large donation a little closer to home, like me. It would get rid of a lot of the world’s hunger problems, or at least mine. Of course, my hunger problems could probably be solved if I learned how to cook. My wife still thinks it is funny when she called home and asked me to turn on the oven and warm something up for her and I had to google how to turn on our five-year-old oven. But I did eventually figure it out. I do know how to nuke things in the microwave. Yes, I admit, I would starve, among other things, without my wife.
At the ripe old age of 11, I decided that since I liked to eat it might be wise to learn how to cook. That decision paid dividends as a young man when I invited ladies to my place to dine.
