50 Companies That Are Apparently Against Free Speech On Twitter

Money talks. Companies rely on our money and our business, and I think it’s important for people to know what their money and business is supporting. And so does Leftist media organization Media Matters for America, who just compiled a list of Twitter advertisers who they say have been “driven away” by Elon Musk taking over the company and steering it in a newer and freer direction. According to the article, “50 of the top 100 advertisers have either announced or seemingly stopped advertising on Twitter. These advertisers have accounted for nearly $2 billion in spending on the platform since 2020, and over $750 million in advertising in 2022 alone.”

They are pulling their advertising from Twitter as a result of Musk’s decisions regarding things like unbanning countless conservative accounts (including former President Trump). Because how DARE Elon Musk allow all kinds of speech on his social media platform! How DARE he let conservatives say things that Leftists don’t like or agree with and therefore consider to be bigotry, violence, or hate speech! How DARE he allow unapproved opinions on his platform! Media Matters hilariously accuses him of “courting and engaging with far-right accounts,” because he’s apparently not even allowed to dialogue or engage with people who don’t submit to the Leftist agenda and narrative.

The following companies simply will not stand for it and apparently prefer public information to be carefully manipulated and curated to exclude anything they don’t like or agree with, and prefer the purveyors of such information be systematically censored. Media Matters explains that “an asterisk indicates a company has issued a statement or was publicly reported as stopping its ads on Twitter and subsequently confirmed. Otherwise, companies identified on this list are “quiet quitters,” based on a Media Matters analysis of Pathmatics data.”
