Trust me when I say I never thought I’d put “bondage” and “teddy bear” in the same sentence, BUT HERE WE ARE.
Fashion brand Balenciaga has (rightfully) come under fire after a disgusting ad campaign dropped with children innocently holding teddy bears that are dressed in bondage gear.
LOOK AT THIS NASTINESS.
The Balenciaga ad is disgusting. Toddlers posing with BDSM sex toys and alcohol. Hiding in plain sight a Supreme Court case involving a federal child porn law… Stop sexualizing kids to sell your ugly overpriced crap. #Balenciaga pic.twitter.com/hTNJ4TD6od

At first glance it’s like okay, maybe these people are really that stupid and this is just an ad campaign gone wrong. But no, no, no—these creeps left a sign in the ad that it was intentional.
As Alison Centofante notes in her tweet, paperwork of a Supreme Court case involving a federal child porn law can be seen underneath a purse in the ad.
Here’s a closer shot.

WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. EFF.
“They are trying to chum up attention by incorporating a Supreme Court child porn pandering case as window dressing. It’s connecting child porn with their product. It’s an exploitative attention-getting device,” said Benjamin Bull, general counsel for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation.
After the backlash, the brand wiped the photos from their pages.
THEY DELETED ALL OF THEIR INSTAGRAM POSTS LMAO pic.twitter.com/ZWfgROhngr

I sense an episode of “To Catch a Predator: Fashion Edition” in the works.
