Is it really better late than never? Really? Because I’m pretty annoyed about this, to be honest. Catherine Herridge from CBS is one of the few journalists who I follow independently because she’s (usually) legit and seems to have journalistic integrity. But I’m pretty annoyed that now, TWO YEARS LATER, Herridge and CBS are taking a victory lap for their “independent forensic review” that has found that the Hunter Biden laptop and all the damning information contained therein is legit. Welcome to the party. For TWO YEARS the mainstream media has denied, buried, or “debunked” the Hunter Biden laptop story as “Russian disinformation” or a right-wing conspiracy to discredit Joe Biden and the politically powerful Biden family.
And you know what? If the mainstream media like CBS had actually done their job TWO FREAKING YEARS AGO, then yes, it certainly WOULD HAVE discredited Joe Biden and his family, and he likely wouldn’t have been elected president of the United States of America because Americans would have been wise to the rampant corruption and criminal activity of (at least) Joe Biden, his son, and his brother. But that was the point of them NOT doing their job for those 2 years, wasn’t it? The whole point of burying, denying, and “debunking” this story was so that Joe Biden WOULD be elected president. So no kudos for CBS or Catherine Herridge on this one. It’s too little too late. This should have been done 2 years ago. These questions should have been asked 2 years ago. These journalists should have been chasing this story 2 years ago and doing everything in their power to verify whether or not it was legit so the American people could know and make an informed decision about the 2020 election. But they DID NOT DO THAT. And the fact that they’re doing it now is just them covering their tails so they can ultimately say that yes, they did report on the Hunter Biden laptop story.
