And as soon as I saw it, I thought, “Find me a woman who would do this job.” Because anytime I see a job that looks like this – like the kind of job you’d expect to see Mike Rowe showing up at with his Dirty Jobs crew – I am reminded that men, on average, take on far more dangerous and physical jobs than women do. And I’m reminded that the mythical “wage gap” that feminists have long complained about is just that – a myth.
Are there differences in pay on average between men and women? YES – and the video above is a great example of why. It has nothing to do with companies trying to cheat women by paying them less for equal work. It has everything to do with the choices that men and women make.

I’ve always hated the mantra equal pay for equal work, as they’ve never once demonstrated that equal work was being performed just that two people happened to be shoehorned into the same job categories and that they weren’t earning as much in the broad time period of a year. It’s almost the lowest resolution comparison you could make and people just eat it up blindly.
I am shocked Mock went with Sommers when Jordan Peterson ripped someone apart over the “wage gap” (I think it was the “so what you’re saying” interview).
