Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard that Elon Musk is basically transforming Twitter into a viable business – as opposed to an adult daycare. If you never saw that viral video of the coddled employee who showed us exactly what it USED to look like when it was hemorrhaging money? I’ll remind you:
This is “a day in the life of a Twitter employee.” No wonder @elonmusk is firing 75% of them pic.twitter.com/cAHOuni765

It’s a mystery to these bleeding hearts how the remaining employees will BE ABLE TO BUY THEIR OWN FREAKING LUNCHES OMG. I mean, first it’s the free lunches, and next it’ll be the free-flowing wine and the meditation rooms? What in the world are these people going to do? You know, instead of actually work?
Andrew is obviously afraid they’re all going to starve, y’all. STAAAARVE, I tell you:
Twitter pays an average salary of $146,546 per year, which is $70.45 an hour. Twitter pays the bottom 10% $106,000 a year, and the top 10% over $201,000. …How will these people ever survive without the free lunches?!

I worked in corporate America for 25 years, and at NO TIME did I get a free lunch – let alone iced matchas, foosball, a meditation room, and red wine on tap. Nope. Don’t recall any of that when I was working 12-hour days at some of those jobs in some really not-fun cube farms. I sure was grateful to be employed, though. And at no time did I starve, because I’m an Actual Adult who has understood how to feed myself since I was a wee tot. Perhaps those people need to call their parents and have a discussion with them for turning them into GIANT, DEPENDENT BABIES.
This generation should be embarrassed by this level of patheticness.
LOL.

No workplace I’ve ever worked at has supplied me with lunch every day. I didn’t starve, because I’m not an idiot.

If all they serve is tofu and vegetables, is it really food?
Mr. Musk needs to learn to market. He could give away free cricket burgers for lunch, but anything else they had to pay. Then when they complained, he could just accuse them of trying to destroy the world and fire them or slash their salaries, because why employ or pay so much money to haters?
Starving them? Good grief the hyperbole of these people is ridiculous. What scares me is that I think he believes his statement to be accurate.
Poor babies ! As much as they are earning I think they can pay fur their own damn lunch.
