Did y’all see this Halloween costume monologue from Bill Maher? It’s perfect.
Isn’t it so interesting that at a time in our history when humans are being absolutely HORRIFIC to one another, and crime is out of control, and we’re exposed to unbelievable amounts of violence and sexual content on the regular, that there are Actual People who get offended by Halloween costumes?
There are also people who have decided that they are the arbiters of who is and isn’t Christian, based on whether or not they choose to enjoy the fun and frivolity of the Halloween holiday. Check out this ridiculousness in our FB comments, simply because Superfan Sid created a festive photo of us for Halloween, which we posted this weekend.
And in response, we got some holier-than-thou folks lecturing us about how we’re basically demons for appearing in a manipulated photo that shows us wearing witch hats. We got people posting stuff like this, for example.
There was another woman who I ended up blocking who claimed that we weren’t “real” Christians if we engage in ANY SORT of Halloween festivities. And I just have no patience for anyone arrogant enough to claim they have the power to be that sort of arbiter. So I told her as much, and then ended my reply with, “GTFO.”
As I do. 🙂
But the holier-than-thou folks kept piling on. BEHOLD:
SO INTERESTING. For sure, since Superfan Sid made that cute pic of us and we posted it, we are ABSOLUTELY Satanists, y’all. Without question.
That’s when Dan the Minister Man showed up to lecture me about the error of my ways.
There is nothing that is more of a turn off to religion that lectures like these. Sorry, but it’s true. If you’re compelled to preach at people as a way of getting them to turn TO religion, it’s the most counterproductive thing you can do. I am stunned that this isn’t better understood.
We had a bit of a back and forth, Minister Dan The Man and me. I sent him this video:
It’s an interesting perspective. but Dan the Minister Man KNOWS BETTER THAN EVERYONE, y’all.
That’s where it stands right now, because I can’t see any reason to respond to that last comment. Um…ok? Have fun with your deja vu.
Damon wasn’t content to put that comment only in one place. He went to a whole other thread to say the same thing.
Sigh. GOD FORBID anyone have fun on Halloween ever again, or be remotely festive.
And then Damon just went full batsh*t.

People like Frank and Dan and Damon are absolutely miserable, and won’t rest until they make other people equally miserable. That’s really the only plausible explanation for posts like these.
Happily, MOST of our followers understand us, understand how to be normal, understand that dressing up in a silly costume on Halloween doesn’t equate to devil worship, and understand holiday traditions. Pete put it perfectly.
I’m not wearing a costume today, not because of any morality issue, but because I was too freaking lazy to think of or purchase a costume. That’s literally the only reason.
Don’t be like Frank or Dan or Damon. No one likes a killjoy.

My experience with mobile casinos has mostly been frustrating—slow apps, confusing menus, and games that refuse to load when you actually want to play. That changed when I downloaded the Wildsino apk from the link at wilds1no.com/app after seeing a few people mention it online. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the responsiveness. The Wildsino casino app feels lightweight even though it gives access to a huge game library. I like switching between different categories, whether it’s live blackjack, random slots, or something I saved earlier, and the transitions happen instantly without lag. Playing during short breaks has become a habit because the app opens fast, remembers where I left off, and doesn’t take forever to load new rounds. I also appreciate how stable the connection is during live dealer games, which is usually where other apps fall apart. The banking section is straightforward, too. I prefer a clean layout where I can see everything without too many steps, and that’s exactly how this app presents it. Another thing I didn’t expect is how well it performs on different devices. I’ve used it on both a newer phone and an older Android device, and the consistency is impressive. The wildsino app doesn’t spam me with unnecessary notifications either, which is a big plus because I only want to hear about relevant offers, not random ads. Overall, the app feels like it was built with real players in mind—fast, functional, and easy to use wherever I am.
I would love to see you two conservative women or any conservative women dress up like witches. If you do, please post as many pictures as possible on this site and I am sure you will find your male readership would increase. If we could also come up with some sort of rating system. How about rating the pictures on a scale of 1 to 10.
O.K. I will shut up now and show myself out. I have candy to borrow from the stingy grandkids. Grandpa has got his weight to maintain. Happy Halloween everyone. As I have shared before, I grew up in a very conservative Baptist/Pentecostal family – none of the extended family drank, smoked or swore and they did not hang around with anyone who did. We always participated in Halloween. There was no way we were worshiping Satan or demons or practicing witchcraft. We were playing pranks and getting fat on all the candy we could eat. I participated until I was in my mid-thirties when my kill joy wife said I was too old to dress up and go door to door asking for free candy. Now, I have to rely on the mercy of the grandkids to get any candy. In fact, I am watching one 9-year-old grandson eat candy and not share with his starving grandfather. The little ____. /sarc.
