Have you seen Philly recently? If you haven’t, you can just picture any Big Blue dumpster fire city and that’s basically what Philly looks like. In fact, a locally beloved business, Wawa, is leaving the area due to high crime damaging their stores, endangering their employees, and generally impeding their ability to conduct business.
Here’s what Wawa and all the other businesses and citizens in Philly have been contending with.

But leftist Philly DA, whose soft-on-crime and criminal justice reform policies have helped create the dumpster fire that currently is Philadelphia, thinks it’s “coded and racist messaging” to criticize dangerous high crime Big Blue cities. Oh, but he doesn’t call them dangerous high crime Big Blue cities. He very carefully calls them “large, diverse cities.” He says it’s part of the “Republican playbook” to point to dumpster fire cities like his and say that “large, diverse cities are lawless.” Which they are. He says this “coded and racist messaging” is about “blaming the biggest city in Pennsylvania with the most diverse population for having the same national struggle that we have with gun violence everywhere, and even having increases that are less than the committees counties.”

It’s not racist to point out a visible social and policy issue. And simply claiming that everything you don’t like is racist doesn’t actually make it racist. But that’s what leftists do when they don’t have a good argument. And the Philly DA doesn’t have a good argument because the criticism is true and he’s partly responsible.

Keep them in prison and the crime decreases. Felon in possession of a gun is good for 2 years in prison. Charge them, convict them and separate them from those who want to live in peace. In democrat cities the officer is still filling out the paperwork and the perp is back on the street. Stop and frisk saves lives.
