October 21, 2022Have y’all been following the trial of Darrell Brooks in Wisconsin? You might remember him from such things as plowing into crowds of people at a Christmas parade last year. He killed 6 people, wounded several others, and is serving as his own lawyer in his trial.
The judge, in my view, has been far too patient with his courtroom antics, and I frankly cannot believe this kind of crap is allowed.
Here are a few choice moments from the past few weeks (and this doesn’t include him stripping off his shirt, or saying that he’s not a person – he’s a human, or him saying he’s changed his name) .
I mean, you get the idea. It’s been nonstop nonsense, and I fully agree with Tammy Bruce on this point:
Yesterday, it was time for Brooks to have his opening statement. And, while I don’t expect anyone to actually sit through well over 4 minutes of him sniffing and blubbering, suffice it to say that Brooks was emotional. The emotion was likely more about self-pity than remorse.
This guy deserves nothing less than the death penalty.

I disagree with Tammy Bruce, I think the judge is letting this nutball do his thing in order to prevent a mistrial.
Regardless of her motivation, she’s certainly got more patience than I have. I’d have slapped him with contempt before he got halfway through the nonsense in the first video.
