AOC Dances To Chants Of “AOC Has Got To Go” At Town Hall

AOC was once again heckled by her own constituents, this time at a town hall event in Astoria Queens. As she was sitting on the stage at the front of the room, some in the audience could be heard chanting, “AOC has got to go! AOC has got to go!” It seems someone even has a percussion instrument of some sort to help create a beat for the chant. Her response was to dance to the chant, clearly in an effort to dismiss the heckling as insignificant, although she does quip, “very classy, thank you, sir,” to one participant.

Protesters shouted, held anti-AOC signs, and challenged AOC’s statements throughout. At one point, a woman yells that “there are only two f*cking genders,” to which some in the crowd booed. Then someone turned off the lights unexpectedly, perhaps in an effort to put an end to the heckling. Once the lights came back on, video showed that AOC had been quickly ushered from the darkened room, as she returned to the podium that was once again lit. This was clearly a safety precaution.

Her supporters went above and beyond to trump the heckling, which is becoming more common at AOC events. It would seem that it’s not all sunshine and daisies in socialist paradise. Here’s a thread with several interesting clips from the event, and below that is a longer video from the event.
