Portland Pub To Host 11-Year-Old Drag Queen

They keep insisting that we’re overreacting and that they’re not really hyper-sexualizing kids.
And then they go and do this and prove that hyper-sexualizing kids is EXACTLY what they’re doing. A Eugene, Oregon restaurant called Old Nick’s Pub is set to host an event on October 23rd featuring an 11-year-old drag queen.

Upon closer examination by investigative journalist Andy Ngô, it turns out that the child’s “drag mom,” or drag queen mentor, is none other than accused pedophile drag queen Kelsey Boren, or “Alwaiz Craving.” Boren, a former school employee at Fern Ridge School District, was recently charged with 12 felony child sex abuse crimes including using the internet to upload and download child pornography “numerous” times.

As of the publication of this article, the Oregon pub has repeatedly defended the event and accused opponents of “sexualizing” the 11-year-old drag queen, saying that it’s despicable to turn such “art” and “creativity” into something sexual. Some commenters liken this drag event to Broadway plays and beauty pageants that feature children. The pub also removed comments from the thread which pointed out that the child’s drag mentor is, in fact, facing criminal pedophile charges.

The child’s parent Jennifer Hibbs, also a drag queen called “Sunshine Ray,” will be performing alongside the child.
