Nancy Pelosi did an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on pre-midterm issues. As you can imagine, MSNBC was playing softball the entire time. They did have to pretend to have a modicum of journalistic integrity, so they asked some questions about relevant topics. But they didn’t press her and they didn’t challenge her. It was basically just a platform for Pelosi to talk. Take a look at this 2:16 clip. Mitchell introduces a new topic of historically high inflation and crime, and then proceeds to bend over backwards to butter up Pelosi and gush about how amazing she is. But Pelosi gets visibly annoyed at being asked a question about something she doesn’t like.

After paying appropriate homage to Saint Pelosi and the Biden Administration, Mitchell then asks a total softball question about why Pelosi thinks the President hasn’t been able to get the “message” through to voters that everything is fine and there’s nothing to worry about because the Biden Administration claims to have accomplished great things despite American suffering. Nothing in the question about how they actually caused the historically high inflation and crime in the first place, how they’ve done absolutely nothing to mitigate the effects of either, or how they continue to do things to exacerbate historically high inflation and crime. That’s not how MSNBC Leftist propagandists do things. No, Mitchell is asking why Pelosi thinks the President has a messaging problem in convincing people to ignore the evidence of their eyes and ears, and blindly believe that everything’s great.
Hilariously, Pelosi gets visibly annoyed at the question. As though she’s offended that Mitchell has the audacity to ask her a legitimate question that is hard to answer, even though it was a total softball question. Pelosi almost condescendingly says that she doesn’t believe all the polls and data that show that Americans care about inflation and crime. She calls the New York Times poll an “outlier poll,” claiming “all the other polls” are what matter. Mitchell responds that there are actually quite a few other polls saying the same thing, not just the New York Times poll. But Nancy Pelosi says she’ll just “dismiss that,” and insists that the Roe decision matters more to the American people than inflation and crime.
They really do expect you to ignore the evidence of your eyes and ears and to be perfectly happy with the devastation the Biden Administration has wrought upon the nation.
