October 5, 2022Mayor Lori Lightfoot is basically a study in how personal image doesn’t always matter in politics. People think you have to be reasonably good looking to make it in the political world, but Lori Lightfoot proves this hypothesis false as she is probably one of the most awkward-looking and awkward-acting current politicians. She’s basically tied with the creepy melting faces of the geriatric politicians in our nation’s capital (McConnell, Pelosi, Waters, etc.)
It’s not just the fact that people say she sort of looks like an alien or Beetlejuice. She’s also SO AWKWARD. But at least she has her priorities straight, right? Image isn’t everything as long as you’re doing the things that REALLY matter. And in Chicago, one of the things that really matters is crime.
This weekend, 34 people were shot in Chicago, including a 3-year-old boy who was killed. And this was actually not considered a particularly bloody weekend for Chicago, as they often see almost double those numbers. But Lori Lightfoot is totally in control of the disastrous Chicago situation and she definitely has her priorities in order. So what’s she doing? She’s in her office filming the most awkward dancing TikTok video of which songs she prefers.
Is this supposed to make her seem more relatable? Like she’s just a normal person like everyone else? Because this is WEIRD. It’s one of the most awkward things I’ve ever seen and it’s COMPLETELY inappropriate for the Chicago mayor to be doing while her city basically bleeds out in the streets. Then again, Democrat politicians aren’t known for having their priorities straight.

I always thought of Lightfoot as a giant black moor goldfish…you know the black goldfish with the big bulging eyes? That’s what she looks like to me. She is about as likeable as Hillary Clinton.
