October 3, 2022In a completely predictable move, the leftist political establishment has protected their own, in this case the corrupt and depraved crackhead son of the President of the United States of America. House Republicans, led by Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, forced a House Oversight Committee vote on a resolution to force the Biden Administration to release documents related to the Biden family’s international business deals. The family’s potential business and political corruption were brought to light following the discovery of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which contained communications detailing the selling of access to a high-ranking politician (Joe Biden), as well as the corrupt financial business deals and profits being made by Hunter, James, and Joe Biden.
But why would the House want to investigate their favorite political puppet, demented Joe Biden, when things are already looking really bad for the Democrat establishment? They’re already dealing with the scandal of covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story back in 2020, so why not cover up the Hunter Biden laptop evidence now?
While 19 Republicans voted to advance the resolution out of the House Oversight Committee, 23 Democrats voted against it. Of the initiative, Comer had previously explained,
“This resolution of inquiry requires President Biden to hand over documents in his possession that are related to the Biden family’s international business schemes and influence peddling. Oversight Republicans’ ongoing investigation has revealed the Biden family has peddled access to the highest levels of government to enrich themselves — and, unfortunately, often to the detriment of U.S. interests.
By passing this resolution of inquiry, we will provide the American people with much-needed transparency to understand the Biden family’s businesses. It is time President Biden answers questions about his participation in his family’s business schemes with some of our most significant adversaries for years, including the Chinese Communist Party. For far too long, James and Hunter Biden have faced no accountability for their deal-making with shady and CCP-connected associates.”
On the flip side, Democrat Representative Stephen Lynch accused the Republicans of being disingenuous in their desire for “oversight.”
“Now all of the sudden you’re interested in oversight. It’s unbelievable. … Let’s forget about the umpteenth boxes of top-secret information he’s got in his house in Florida. What do we hear about that from the Republicans? Crickets.”

I just pray this isn’t another case of “we know it can’t possibly pass right now, so it’s safe to vote for it, so we can tell people we tried.”
I’m thinking specifically of Obamacare. When the Dems held the White House and there was just slightly lower than 0% chance of getting their bill signed, Congressional Republicans voted to repeal Obamacare repeatedly (something like six times, I think). Then, as soon as Obama was out of office and we actually could have gotten the bill signed, suddenly they weren’t interested in the issue anymore. They voted one more time, McCain killed it and they threw up their hands and said, “Oh well, we tried!” And here we are, still stuck with Obamacare.
Like I said, hopefully this time it will be different and they will actually follow through with this kind of investigation when (hopefully soon!) they have the power in Congress to actually accomplish something. But this is me not holding my breath…
